Crutches

Our Breezy Everyday Crutch range has different shapes, heights and designs to suit individual user’s needs. Crutches come in two varieties either underarm or forearm crutches, each with its own pros and cons.

Underarm crutches are great for user’s who need them for only a short amount of time, they are all adjustable in height and come with padded handles and armpit moulds. They may strain your wrists and cause irritation around the armpit after extended use but are the easiest to use and the most common style of crutch.

The forearm crutches are great for user’s that may need them for weeks at a time. The elbow cuff fits just below the elbow and allows users to move quickly and with precision all day. Included are two different handle types; the straight handle is just like a walking stick handle and is slightly contoured to support the hand while moving and the contoured handle fits very comfortably in the palm of your hand maximising the comfort and relieving some pressure from your wrists.

Walking Frames: The Breezy Everyday Walking Frames come in either folding or no-folding variations with some models taking up to 227kg. The most common walking frame is known as a ‘ball walker’ and is very light and manoeuvrable for around the home or in a facility. They can be folded up while not in use and can be fitted with wheels and skis to add a bit more manoeuvrability to the walker.  It also comes in non-folding versions which are great for rehabilitation facilities or for users that don’t require the walker to fold. All units are height adjustable through each leg and come with moulded, comfortable handles. For people that need a bit of extra stability and that want to use their walkers outside we have our heavy duty and super heavy duty rolling walkers or rollators. These come with four wheels and brakes that can lock on and also a comfortable seat for resting. Our rollators are rated at 180kg and 227kg and include an underseat basket for storage.

Walking Sticks

Our walking stick range has a large selection of different handles, each having its own benefits.

The Fischer handles as (featured in the Cane, Adjustable Fischer Stick, LHS) are contoured to fit the shape of your hands providing a comfortable support for your hand. Keep in mind that these are designed for the left or right hand so you are unable to switch the walking stick to a different hand.

The swan and hook styled walking sticks allow the user to hang the walking stick off of furniture or their arm whilst tending to other things.

The straight neck or ‘T-handle’ walking sticks have contoured plastic handles providing great comfort while in use.

All models are height adjustable, so check each individual page for their measurements.
