Quality Management

In 1992, Sunrise Medical became the first wheelchair manufacturer to be awarded ISO 9001 certification. Since then, maintaining an effective Quality Management System that meets the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 has become a key commitment of our business.

The operation of a recognised quality management system to enhance customer satisfaction and meet customer requirements is a key part our business.


 

Accreditation to the world class business growth framework of ISO 13485 is the foundation of this. It's also a key part of ensuring that our products meet the regulatory compliance requirements of the (eg, TGA, FPA and MDR).

Our management systems also address environmental matters and sustainable development through our environmental policy and objectives in accordance with the environmental standard ISO 14001 (with environmental requirements for suppliers addressed through our Ethical Suppliers Policy).

Our systems for the above management standards have been accredited and registered by an independent assessment organisation and the relevant certificates can be found to the right.
