Its automatic assistance mode adjusts the wheelchair’s speed to match your walking pace, so no extra effort is needed. Activate constant speed mode to maintain a steady pace without pushing at all! The R10 makes slopes feel flat and heavy loads seem weightless. Foldable with the wheelchair, the R10 is easy to remove and store away too. Compatible with nearly any box-frame wheelchair, the R10 pushes the boundaries of freedom—so you don’t have to.
Upon detecting motion, Automatic Assistance provides just the right amount of propulsion to match your pace, reducing the effort needed to push. The faster you walk, the more assistance you receive. Plus, because you’re only supplied power when you need it, your battery lasts longer too.
The R10’s distance detection sensor automatically pauses the device if it doesn’t detect an attendant gripping the push handle. This ensures the wheelchair only moves when someone is in control, adding an extra layer of safety for both you and the wheelchair user.
Inclines can be especially challenging for wheelchair attendants. But with the R10’s Constant Speed Assistance mode, you can get a continuous speed at the press of a button – even when tackling inclines of up to 8 degrees!
The R10 offers 3 maximum speed settings: 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 km/h. So regardless of which mode you’re using, you can set a speed limit to ensure the R10 doesn’t exceed your chosen pace.
Powered by a lightweight (1.2 kg), removable 5Ah Lithium-Ion battery, the R10 delivers a range of up to 12 km—so you can travel worry-free without needing to charge between journeys.
When you’re on the go, disconnecting your R10 is the last thing you want to worry about. That’s why the docking arm folds with your wheelchair, even with the R10 attached! Short on space? The R10’s drive wheel, backpack, and controller are also designed to break down into compact, easy-to-handle parts.
Weighing just 3.7 kg, the drive wheel can be removed by simply pulling the docking pin, so it's easy to remove (along with the controller and backpack) to transport in smaller car boots.
The backpack holds the battery and charger, attaching to the wheelchair with four buckles. When disconnecting the R10, it also fits the controller, keeping everything in one easy-to-carry package.
Transporting your R10 whilst folded? Securely wrap the Velcro strap around the push handles after folding to keep your wheelchair and R10 together.
The controller’s conveniently placed side charging port makes recharging quick and easy, even when folded! The battery also has an independent port, allowing a spare to fully charge in just 3 hours.
The R10’s intuitive docking arm is designed to fit most box-frame wheelchairs with round tubing. Scale markings on both sides ensure quick and accurate alignment of the docking wheel for hassle-free setup.
